COLLECTIVE REAR

Tearing a border by force, whether by sea, mountain or desert, also tears bodies - drowned, machine-gunned, frozen, pierced by wires, deceived, misunderstood,
ignored. On the other side of the border, it is necessary to suture the tears, it is necessary to take care of the wounds, simultaneously remake the body and reinvent the being.

The actions listed here are collective, resulting from the encounters between artistic practice and space research, the relationship between image, photography and migration do  Projeto Vidas Paralelas, and migrant organizations in France (Coletivo Sans Papiers 93, Colectivo Livre Noir, ARIFA Association). All involved, among other actions, with the taking of space, marches, production of posters, texts, documentary books, poetry, drawings e  photographs, theater, songs and so on. I became a proactive participant and collaborator in the processes and partnerships of this movement, with the production and organization of images that make up  memória of a specific moment.

Between 2017 and 2018 I did my doctoral internship in France. The research carried out in the Graduate Program in Art at the University of Brasília became part of the Projeto Vidas Paralelas Migrantes: Perspectivas Brasil – França (CAPES – COFECUB), a program that aims to o_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_scientific exchange, mobility of researchers e training of human resources. Participation in the  programa  enabled the  to deepen the research of the tear in migration. I was involved for a year with associations and collectives to carry out Human Rights and Photography Workshops, among other planned and new actions.
